Meet and greet at the gallery.

I'm really pleased the way the art looks.

We have hung it salon style to get as much in as possible.

I have made an edition of 10 screen prints of this dog.

I was recently at the Phillips Collection in Washington, and was incredibly impressed by some of the amazing and important works by artists I admire. Some were housed in very low-tech, basic wooden frames. It was just perfect. I thought I would do the same. Here are a couple of Photos took at the gallery.

1960 Gene Davis Rain Dance I

1959 Milton Avery Black Sea

Here we have the paintings getting framed in the workshop.

Bill Welcomes The Spirit World to Damwood.

PENNY LANE GALLERY photo by Christine
I took most of the paintings down to the gallery yesterday. It was nice to see them all together for the first time. They are usually stored away at my house.
The photo shows about half of the ones that I took. This gave me a very good idea how they will look in the space.
As you can see in the photo, the paintings were attracting the interest of the local weirdo who was transfixed at the window, poor sod he will have to wait till the 25th.

PENNY LANE GALLERY
I have been very busy getting ready for my first Exhibition in Liverpool at a brand new gallery THE PENNY LANE GALLERY

THE CHAOS AND THE CALAMITY
LAPD Instruct Brainwash to clean up the exterior walls of his Art show 2011 event.
Mr Brainwash armed only with a little sponge and some water tries to save art on the outside wall off his L.A. compound. including this one of mine.
We are not sure whether the print was removed or destroyed in the process, either way merci beaucoup for trying MBW. I have my agent on the ground known only as ‘Dragonfly’ assessing the situation.

Hi Will,
Did your dad serve in the 8th Army. My grandfather served with them through North Africa and into Italy where he fell. He is buried in Arezzo Italy , Gunner Patrick Monaghan, he was also a Jazz drummer. I seen the army photograph you posted of your dad and it reminded me of photos of my dear old Grandad whom I never met. But he certainly left me with the music bug, as I have been writing & performing for years now.
I was at your gig last night in Glasgow :0(, enough said mate,
Regards
Stevie
